London here we come

Tickets have now been purchased. We leave Brisbane on April 26th for 4 days in Hong Kong, then arrive in London April 30th. Plans from there will be made when we arrive, we have a few things in mind but will just 'play it by ear' as they say.

Ongoing preparations

Well things are progressing rapidly. and the time is running out. We have started to pack away things that are staying here, most to go to storage. a very full storage we have rented in Caloundra. Also we have purchased a Unit close to the beach and Jessica is going to live there while we are away. Not sure where we will go when we return. It seems that we will be going straight to England unless something unexpected comes up soon. Work prospects in the UAE are not as they seem. There is supposedly lots of work but actually getting a postion is not easy. So the date is set for April 26 and flights are ready to be booked. Not much longer for either of us to work now. Just a few short weeks. We are both well and truly ready for a good break after the last twelve months.

Prelude

For the last few months we have been busy preparing for O.B.A. Getting copies of all the appropriate papers for Visa documents etc. This is a process in its self. Having to deal with bureaucrats from different countries and states, and everything takes time. Just as well we started early, some things have taken weeks. Not to mention the fee for almost everything. However most of that is done now, and we are getting towards the serious part of the preparations. We now are looking for employment possibilities in Dubai and the UK, whichever comes first. So the preparations continue and the excitement builds
